Working towards an independent lifestyle
Aspirations Care has extensive experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities. We also help people who may have associated diagnoses alongside their primary Learning Disability.
We’ve achieved many successful outcomes through the use of assistive technology to promote independence, develop relationships, financial budgeting and management, promoting health and safety and accessing information – which ultimately helps those in our care move towards an independent lifestyle.
Just some of the goals the people we support work towards:
- Having a home of their own
- Enjoying a meaningful and fulfilled day
- Gaining employment or education
- Forging friendships and relationships
- Contributing to their local communities
- Maintaining good health and wellbeing
- Maximise their independence and decision-making
- Ageing
- Associated diagnoses
- Weight issues
- Social isolation & vulnerability

Whatever support we provide, we focus heavily on STOMP - Stopping Over Medication of People (with a Learning Disability, Autism or both) with psychotropic medicines.
